Alicia, I do not know you, but your story touched me deeply when I read it yesterday! I was, at the time, having a minor anxiety attack because I had to go to work last night and leave my little girl. That is not a new thing for me, but I have been fortunate enough to work part time so that I can spend extra time with her(she is 18 mo) Last night was my first night of 7, so she is at her grandparents for the week! I was feeling so sorry for myself and your story made me realize how blessed we all are for the time we have to spend with our children! I hope and pray that Amelia will continue to touch the lives of those around her, as I am sure she will for many years to come! I am an RN and deal with tragedy daily, sometimes it is hard to appreciate how blessed we are! You are a very lucky woman, and I can tell that Amelia is truely blessed to have you by her side! YOu will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you!!
