Yes. Armywife is a close friend and her husband is there. My husband was in the military and served in the last Gulf war so we have friends that are still in serving and over in Iraq. It is very close to my heart. Knowing these people and their mentality. They love serving their country. Most do I mean. My husband would go today if they would take a 52 year old man. After the men that were taken yesterday and killed, I'd like to go. It makes me angry that they had defenseless men and murdered them because of the hate they have for anyone who does not believe as they do. But, then they have been killing defenseless women, children and men means nothing to them.
You sound as if it's very close to you also.
