We haven't paid enough attention to Grey's lately. Of course, when new episodes are so rare, it's hard to get excited. But, with the 3-episode block where Meredith nearly died and the several new episodes that have aired the past couple of weeks and those that will becoming in the next few weeks, we have some serious decisions to make.

1. Are we happy that Addison is leaving Grey's for her own show? My answer: No. I now love Addison. I loathed her while she was with Derek, but she became really cool afterward. The only way this is good is if the new show is a really good one.

2. If Addison weren't leaving, who should she be with? Alex, McSteamy, etc? My answer: Alex. Of course, this complicates my next question.

3. If Addison weren't leaving, who should Alex be with: Addison, Ava, etc? My answer. Split right down the middle. Alex and Addison are hot, but he's so sweet and protective of Ava.

4. Is George really moving to a new hospital? Is T.R. Knight going to be stupid enough to leave the hottest show on TV where he is getting hotter by the minute over the gay thing? Get over it, move on, don't leave.

5. If George stays, who should he be with: Callie or Izzy? My answer, no question, Callie 100%. She's his wife. She loves him. And, while Izzy may consider herself in love with George right now, it won't last. She's still too raw from Denny. And, as much as I love George, Izzy will one day realize she could get a hotter guy. An Izzy/McSteamy pairing would be interesting.

6. Is Burke leaving because Isaac Washington wasn't politically correct? My answer: I certainly hope not. Burke is one of the most exciting characters on the show.

7. Will Burke and Christina actually get married? My answer: probably.

8. Will Burke and Christina stay married? My answer: probably not.

9. Who is Meredith's father: Mr. Grey or the Chief. My answer: the Chief. It has been known to happen when a biracial child was totally white. That happened when Victoria Rowell's (Dru on Y&R) baby was born. She had to convince the nurses that the blonde, blue-eyed baby girl was her baby. (This was in real life...not on the Young and the Restless.)

10. Will the Chief retire? My answer: No way!

11. Will Bailey lose her marriage if she stays at work so much? Probably.

12. Which of the interns (who, after 3 years as interns certainly should be residents by now) will perform a major surgery solo first? My answer: Christina, no doubt.

13. They keep talking about this chief resident thing. I think it is because they ARE actually going to make the interns into residents next season. Question: who will be chief resident: Bailey or the psycho shrink? My answer: They're going to scare us a bit more with Dr. Mary Sunshine, but Bailey will be chief resident. Why? So she can continue to rule the lives of Meredith, Christina, Alex, Izzy, and hopefully George.

14. Will McDreamy and Meredith split up because Meredith didn't swim? My answer: maybe. But they won't be apart for long.

These are serious issues in a make-believe world. Sometimes we need a little break from serious issues in the real world, so this questionnaire is meant to give Grey's fans the opportunity to discuss the one show where my kids aren't allowed to speak to me unless somebody's bleeding. (They can talk during commercials.) After dealing with a lot of real world, very important drama, I need the escape of delving into Seattle Grace!
