Hi all-new member here (previous lurker) and this is my first post. If I am off topic please be patient while I learn! I have a question about AT&T's DSL. I do have this service and it is great. AT&T called me several weeks ago and talked me into going to DSL 3.0-I had previously fast access dsl. It is just $5 more a month but I am not seeing a huge change in the speed. I thought it would be faster than it is yet when I check my speed it shows at 2.9. they also explained I would get a static ip address at no extra cost but the ip they emailed me and the ip address on my computer are different. What's up with that. Is there just not a huge speed difference in fast access dsl and 3.0? I'm tempted to call them and go back to fast access and save that $60.00 per year! What do ya'll think?
