I was thinking yesterday you could give out citizen of the week or citizen of the month awards. For someone who shows good citizenship. I've seen a man who walks around our city picking up trash. I know he doesn't care if he ever gets recognized, he's doing it for pride of our city. Sometimes a little recognition just sparks more good citizenship. It could also be for someone who helps others. I haven't thought about awards. Maybe a t-shirt with citizen of the week or a car decal. Or a choice of the two.
Also someone could pick one or two of those crazy news items from one of the news web sites to read.
