Dr. James Dobson responds to a speech made by Barack Obama in which the presidential candidate, while discussing the role of religion in government, compares Dr. Dobson to political activist the Rev. Al Sharpton. Dr. Dobson also updates listeners on the battle to preserve traditional marriage in Arizona, and pays tribute to late broadcast journalist Tim Russert. Joining Dr. Dobson for a discussion of these important issues are Focus on the Family President Jim Daly and Tom Minnery, Focus' Vice President of Public Policy.
"76 percent of the [American] people identify themselves as Christian ... [but Barack Obama is] diminishing the idea that people of Christian faith have anything to say." - Tom Minnery |

Obama minimized the 70% of Americans who say they are Christan in our country. WHY??? What purpose does it serve to say there are less Christans in our country than reported.
Mr. Obama attacked Mr. Dobson and his faith. Not the other way around.
Mr. Obama also attacked the word of God. I thought he was a Christan. What purpose does that serve? His speech was senseless and self serving. But that's what politicians do. Try to make themselves look better than they actually are.
I just don't think his attack on Mr. Dobson was warranted. He obviously doesn't know Mr. Dobson.

Psalms 91:1-2 "He who dwells in he secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."
