Everything/Nothing Random Thoughts Thread

I have been thinking lately. What is the biggest thread ever on the dlive? Maybe Dave or another admin can answer that.

I wish to start a thread that will break the all time record for posts. My masterpiece will be called The Random Thoughts Thread and it is an off topic thread. We can talk about everything in this thread from Polly's uterus and ovaries to that dude Demopolite likes that sounds like a cow hung in the fence when he sings. We can sling mud at each other (at random) about Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State or whatever. We can jab at one another about Obama, Hillary, Bill, or Bush or McCain. Or any and all of their wives/husbands. The War in Iraq, hunting, fishing, whatever is on your mind...at that particular moment. Just as long as it is totally random and doesn't hurt anyones feelings.

As an added incentive I will paypal $5 to the last person posting on this thread.

I will start with something that has been on my mind all day. Last night, in Butler, I watched a kid hit a baseball that clearly landed in play and bounced over the fence. The ump called it a home run. Linden's coach called time and tried to plead our case but the ump was having none of it and would not reverse his call. EVERYBODY saw this ball land in play. It was the first time I have ever seen that happen in baseball in over 30 years of playing/watching/coaching.

I would also like to comment that the Linden fans did not act a fool and show their fannys to the umps or the citizens of Butler, AL. We didn't even throw rocks at their scoreboard like they did ours last year. But, it was still the worst call ever.

Comments anyone?
