Trading Post Notice

I've just had to split some threads where people were posting their own For sale notices in other peoples For sale threads. This is not permitted. If you want to sell something, please start a new thread. For future refrence, All replys made to a trading post thread that do not deal with the specific item being sold will be deleted.

Update: 05/12/2005

In addition to the above, If you are selling something, please attach a picture if at all possible. If you are selling a vehicle of some kind, a picture will be required.

Also, Please post the Price and all details. Have any questions about the item posted in the thread INSTEAD of a PM or email to the seller. Do not ask people to PM for pricing or questions as It does no good to keep these things out of view from other potential buyers. When the Item is sold, make a post in the thread indicating that it has been sold so the thread can be closed out.

Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Update: 06/14/2007

Anyone posting links to sites using a referral ID will have the post deleted and their account subject to banning.

What is a referral link? A Referral link is a url that contains a code at the end that is linked to a persons personal account with that website. It is used to track and credit the user with points, cash, etc, if they get X amount of people to sign up for an account. I've seen this a number of times lately so I thought I would make a post on it. You can easily identify an offending URL by hovering your mouse over the link and looking at it's true URL. at the end, it will typically have something like ?id=XXXX where XXXX is a random alpha-numeric code that identifies the link posters account. Do NOT click these links and please report any that you find.

Thank you.
