Re: Pope in Bad Shape

Pope John Paul II has passed from this realm into the next. My Church is currently without a worldly leader...and will be for days. That is disconcerting to me. I may have not agreed with all of the stances of the Pope but just his very existance gave me a sense of security of sorts. And now we (Catholics) are somewhat without worldly leadership for the time being, although we do have the Cardinal Camerlengo (I had to look that one up), the acting head of the Church. It's just not the same.

For me, it will be long days waiting to have a new Pope in place. And the anticipation of who it will be is strong for me...as it is for most Catholics. But my faith, as it should be, is strong that all will be as it should, when it should.

resquiescat en pace

Rest in Peace...
Pope John Paul II

"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin--real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."
