I seriously doubt tuition ever going down. I am a senior at UA now, and never have understood how they could be in need of more money. Here are some numbers I threw around
  • 15727 instate undergrads give $125,816,000 per year in tuition
  • 5242 out of state undergrads give $38,872,000 per year in tuition
  • 2850 instate grad students give $28,500,000 in tuition
  • 950 out of state grad students give $18,050,000 in tuition

This come up to a grand total of $211,238,000 just in student tuition and fees.


Keep in mind this doesn't account for the countless donations, royalties, endorsements, etc... that the University has as income.

I just don’t get how they could be hurting that bad for money that they would want to take it out of the public school system. If they keep doing this kind of crap, they might as well make tuition free, because there won't be any kids educated enough out of high school to even go!

Higher education is an EXCELLENT thing, but sometimes they really look like a bunch of money hungry *******s!
