I agree with Dave, if the guilty party finds out who ratted them out, they will be seeking revenge. It should be totally confidential. I honestly don't know what I would do in that situation (drugs, alcohol, or vandalism). But I would definitely snitch if it envolved guns or someone's life was at stake.
