The whole issue is ridiculous. First of all, it was for fun and games. The reporter was having fun with him and asked him for a Roll Tide and then asked him if he would say War Eagle. If you watch the tape, he did not put any enthusiam into it. As far as supporting his University, if he did not support it then he would not have been with Alabama. He was a former Auburn cheerleader who decided to go to Alabama. If the higher ups at Alabama would not have made a big deal about it, then nothing would have been said. I think that the whole thing is ridiculous. If anyone was to blame it was the reporter who was suggesting the idea and having fun with it. Like the constitution says there is a freedom of speech. If he wanted to press the issue, he could take it to court for a violation of his constitutional rights.
