Not much you can do. I had two dead pixels on my first laptop, just had one show up on my newish laptop.

Sometimes you can massage the area, sometimes fixes a short or something, but its a temp fix and can often cause more dead pixels.

The early bird gets the worm...
but the second mouse gets the cheese.
