If you choose to go this route, I would also like to suggest formatting the hard drive so that you start off on a clean slate. I would be very hesitant to reinstall Windows over the current setup. I would be afraid it may retain the corrupt file causing the problem and cause even more problems down the road. I just had to reinstall Windows XP Pro on a notebook for just that reason. The Service Pack 2 update had a bad install. I just started completely over and reloaded everything. |

I have been using Apple's for twenty + years ( Mac's since the came out) and never a problem like those common microsoft OS problems.
Buy a Mac!!! Cost more, worth it in the long run. (paid political ad by Apple!)
