Lowe's/Home Depot Veteran's Discounts

From now through May 28 Lowe's and Home Depot are offering discounts to certain active duty military and veterans.

Home Depot is offering a 10% discount to active duty, reservists, retired military and veterans to include their immediate families on purchases up to $2000.

Lowe's is offering a 10% discount on purchases up to $5000 to active duty, reservists, military retired and their immediate family members.

Proof of eligibility such as discharge papers, military ID and such is required. Inquire at the stores service desk to determine eligibility before shopping. Also check the web sites of Lowe's and Home Depot for details and other information.

For those who live closer to Lowe's or Home Depot than we do in Demopolis, these offers are more tempting to take advantage of. I would have to be saving a lot for the, at least, two hour round trip to Tuscaloosa or Meridian. Anyone who, for example, are planning to by new kitchen cabinets, riding lawn mower, washer, dryer, stove or such, this could save them $200-$500.
