It was my understanding that the name The Sandwich Shop did not give people the feeling that she was a catering company, just a place that serves only sandwiches.

She is doing the same thing, just changed the name.

K, here is the deal with the shop. The majority of my business is catering. I am so grateful and happy about that to! I really enjoy it and have made a name for myself here in this fabulous city doing it. When I started out a few years ago downtown the name we used "The Sandwich Shop" served a purpose for what we were. That being said, I pondered the fact heavily of changing the name when I first moved out onto the highway. After being here a year and 1/2 now I felt it was time to show the growth of the main part of my business which is catering. I personally had an issue with doing a wedding reception and people saying the catering was done by "The Sandwich Shop". Everyone of the functions I would do people would come up to me and say, " I thought you only served sandwiches."... The reasoning for the name is this, I liked it..hahaha..Lemon Grass is an herb used for cooking, mostly in Thai dishes, but it was different, fun and a little whimsical sounding. I feel more comfortable with this name more along the lines of a catering aspect. Trust me you spend so much time selling yourself to people out of town because it's hard for them to visualize what you do being considered a sandwich shop. I hope this has answered any questions anyone may have had. I appreciate your business and hope you stop in!! Our new hours will be Wed - Friday 10-2 / Thursday - Sat. 5-10 (dinner menu will be on the new website) and Sunday Brunch from 10-2.. the website will be up and running in the morning.
