Need Your Opinion On New Product
Ok guys, I've started making a new product for the gallery and wanted to do a survey of sorts for pricing purposes since I don't have a clue how much I should price them. These are hand painted mouse pads. I'm including here a sample of one I just finished so you can get an idea of what they will be like. So far I'll have different horses, a pig, bassett hound, boston terrier, flowers, and a cat. The one's I'm doing now are round and I will probably do some square ones as well.

I need some ideas of what to paint on them that you think would sell and also what you think they would sell for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, how pretty! How about sunsets/sunrises as a suggestion? I would have no earthly idea of how much to charge for them tho. I have never seen anything like that before, so I don't think that there is anything out there to compare pricing to.

Thanks! Thanks kinda my problem, I haven't found any yet to compare pricing. Maybe if I ask, how much would you be willing to pay for something like this if you really liked it? That might help too.

Well, considering that you can't buy anything like this anywhere else?? Being handpainted with something that I really liked as the scene I would probably be willing to pay $20-25. What do people pay for NASCAR or NFL things that are not hand painted. Of course, I know that they are "official" printings but....it takes more time to paint one than it does to machine press 100. "Hand" made things sometimes are priced way to low in my opinion unless you are just a super-wiz at painting and you could produce several hundred a day so your time in the project wouldn't be too long on each one.

Mice on a mouse pad! I'll buy one! My sister in law loves mice and this would be something very unique for her! (Probably easy to paint too for someone who knows what they are doing like AngleWing) Could this be my first Christmas gift to buy? What a good idea AngelWing! There is no end to what you can paint on these! Can you do trains?
