What all does "grooming" involve? A shampoo, getting matted hair out, etc.? Do you do big dogs: like golden retrievers? I have a sweetie that is 4 years old, he is so hyper, I can't groom him properly. I am ashamed to say that he has little tags of hair on the underside and on his tail. A golden's feathers are his glory, and he isn't looking too glorified right now. I do wish to get him is shape. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Grooming is considered to be your choice of a haircut (and whatever else needs to go with that like dematting, etc.), nails, and bath. We do large dogs so give me a call and we will see when we can get him in for a clean up. Thanks for the inquiry.

Don't forget we also do dips for fleas, which are horrible this year.

I meant to ask about this when I was in there Saturday. I need to get Chi Chi groomed anyway so this will be a good way to start it.

I wanted too to say how great you guys did on Frodo! For those of you who don't know Frodo, he's our adopted son, courtesy of Brian. Not sure how much he weighs but when he's trying to climb up in your lap he feels like about 60 pounds, probably closer to 45 or 50. He's a sweet and loveable bassett hound and Chi Chi's best friend. If you ask who's Chi Chi just look at my avatar. She's my little girl and spoiled rotten. We also have the old lady of the house, Dixie, who is a 10 year old dachsund. One's thing for sure, no one gets into our house, or even onto the front porch without being noticed and the 3 doorbells waking the dead. LOL

I have a few questions for ya...Are you open on Saturdays? If so, What hours? Do you paint their nails? And is there anyway you could get one of those cute little bows to stay in my baby's hair. She is a short haired Chi.

Thanks AngelWing, he was a joy and yes he weighs a ton. I love his big old ears though. As for the painting of the nails, yes we do that and if they have enough hair we do bows and barrettes and pony (pig) tails. We are open on Saturdays from 9-5. Just let us know if we can be of assistance.

I had my dog shaved and groomed today at Clyde's and he looks fabulous!!!
He is a black lab and Australian Shepard mix with a ton of fur. He had so much fur it would just blow around the house no matter how much you vaccumed. His allergies have been so bad this summer that he has been practically living at the vet's office. Dr. Wright told us again yesterday that she is a fan of having dog's like him shaved. So my husband and I decided last night to bite the bullet and have it done. We were worried about him looking totally stupid without the fur but in fact he really looks good. I wish I had gone ahead and had it done in May when it started getting really hot. I know Buddy does too! You can already tell he is much more comfortable without the fur coat. Believe me it is worth the money and we went ahead and joined the grooming club for $10.00 more. I think it will be worth it. I will try and get Bebo to post some pictures so everyone can see what a great job Laquittaf and her staff did!!!!
