iTunes help
Does anyone on D'LIVE work w/ iTunes? Is the iTunes store up & running? I recently returned from vacation & wanted to download some new music. iTunes will open, but the store is unavailable.

All the other PC programs seem to work just fine & the internet is working OK. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing trouble? I would appreciate hearing from you if you are.

Do you have DSL or cable internet? I am not a genius with itunes, but that is where I get my music. I do know you have to have a current internet connection for itunes music store to work. Also, there seems to be some pretty good help forums and other information on the apple web page. I've had trouble before and found my answers there. I just double click on the itunes store and it opens for me.

We have dial up and we could never get the store to open for us...we gave up and came to the conclution we live too far in the boonies to get cool stuff like that. I do not even get on the computer at home unless I have too...

Thanks, Wyldfire. I have wireless internet through Network IT & it seems to be working fine. I can go to any web page I want, but the iTunes store will not open. I keep getting an error message.

We just returned from vacation in Nashville (CMA Music Fest) & I wanted to download some of the new songs we heard while there. I guess I'll keep trying.

It could be something to do with the way they route their wireless. They appear to have ICMP turned off, maybe other ports as well.

Give'em a call, let them know. If you know anyone else on their wireless connection, find out if they can get on iTunes.

Not quite sure what's going on, but I re-installed iTunes from the Apple website & re-started my PC. I was ABLE to access the iTunes store & purchase songs, so I'm back in business. Thanks to everyone who replied.

I think I jinxed myself. I came home this afternoon and was going to look for all the new releases and I can't even connect to the internet. Something is up with my Bellsouth or my wireless router. As of right now, I am highjacking an unsecured wireless connection in my neighborhood. Internet and itunes seems to be working fine, so I guess it is something on my end.

I am on turtle-speed dial up and have no trouble accessing ITUNES. Downloading songs takes about 12 min each tho. Sometimes a bummer. Just glad to have a computer, an internet service and an IPOD
