Mr G's has been a Demopolis establishment since 1974, locally owned an operated. They serve Italian cuisine, with salads, sandwiches, and other items available as well. Service is self-serve at the counter, with table busing after you leave. Free refills on drinks available upon request. Call in orders take on average 20 to 30 minutes to prepare, with an available drive-thru for pick-up of call in orders only. The dining areas have televisions with booths and tables available. You can also reserve a private party area for birthdays or other celebrations.

Love, love, love their salads and it's the only place I'll even go near Blue cheese dressing!! It's a great place to meet friends and enjoy their company. I MISS Mr G's.

Always a staple of Demopolis. The pizzas are uniquely different & they have the best roast beef sandwich for miles. Good business move to relocate to Hwy. 80 after the original building burned several years back.

I love the location of Mr. G's! Its so close to where I work and I don't have to travel to the other end of town to get lunch. We can place a to go order for 5 and its ready within 15 minutes or less!! I love their pizza's and the roast beef salad is wonderful. And I use to drink their sweet tea cause it was sooooo sweet but I don't drink sweet tea period any more but everybody should try it at least once!

I love the Roast Beef sandwhiches.. umm... gravy..
I don't really care for there pizza's but my son Loves them!! I like just about everything else on the menu though

Not "5 star food," but excellent, fast, good food at a reasonable price. I really like that they have such a wide variety of items on their menu even though I usually stick to my favorites:

1. Cheese Manicotti as Saturday's Special
2. Turkey & Bacon Sandwich
3. Turkey & Cheese Salad with THOUSAND ISLAND (!)

My family loves Mr. G's! We like to order their chicken, bacon, and cheese salads, their chicken fett., their ham and cheese sandwiches, and their bbq. We can't go a week without eating from there.

We've loved Mr. G's every since I can remember. My favorite is the special salad with Blue Cheese dressing. Their roast beef sub is pretty awesome too.
Thanks to the Gilberts for keeping good food in Demopolis.

Roast beef sandwich with gravy and cheese with a cup of ranch dressing on the side (for dipping) and a large sweet tea. Grease up the paddles and clear! I eat one a week.

We had take-out last week, I got the Roast Beast and Turkey salad with the bleu cheese dressing (wonderful stuff), the Wife had the Lasagne Special. It was waiting for pick-up in 15 minutes and it was delish. The Kid missed out cause he wasn't HONGRY! What kinda 13 year old isn't hungry all the time?????? I KNEW there was something wrong with him...

The food is good, but every single time I order from there they screw up my order. I would order from there more often except I hate the hassle. I usually sit there and check the bag before I leave and sure enough, it is messed up. Then, I have to wait even longer for them to fix it.
