I'm intrested in finding out aboutthe resturants in demopolis do they have a Health Inspector or what is the health score for the businesses that operate there. looks like to me if these places or as bad as you all report on here them go to the health department on them and report this.

We do have a health inspector as do beauty salons, nail salons etc. There job is primarily to protect the public safety. They want to be sure that food is prepared in a clean environment and that it is being handled in such a way as not to make you sick. They are not interested in how well you serve your customers or if your food is good. Some of the guidelines are hard to follow, for instance if a cloth you are using to wash the counter with is not in your hand or in sanitizing water you will lose a point.Your mops & brooms must be hung or stood with the heads up. I know from most homes I have been in most would not get a very good score.
