In an effort to help out the community (DLive) we'll be working on a "Help" section dedicated to answering many of the questions typical of new (and older) users of the website and the internet.
First on the list is how to resize a pic and save in the proper format. We tend to frown on uploading a bitmap that's over a mb in size when you can have the pic uploaded at about 90k in size simply by changing the format.
What I need to know is, What kind of photo software do you have? I will create a help section that will (hopefully) walk anyone through the process of editing pics. So, if you have photoshop, fireworks, image ready, paint shop pro, different camera software, etc., please tell me what you have so I can add it in with the faq.

I use both mgi PhotoSuite SE Ver. 1.05 (for resizing and touch ups) and ACDSee Ver. 3.1 (this came with my digital camera and I use it mostly to do my initial cropping and such)

At home I have Photosuite and I have the Kodak easyshare that came with my camera and at work I have Microsoft photo editor. I'll look tonight and see what version of Photosuite I have at home.

I have Kodak easyshare and/or HP. I didn't know about the size thingy. Do I need to resize my pics?
I am aware that my appearance, by mortal standards, is strange, even unsettling.
If I am to be an ambassador of my people, tradition dictates that I look the part.
Sadly, those who judge me on my looks alone ignore the causes I champion
Still, when the need arises, I am a warrior.
