Dr. Reese Holifield Has Died
Dr. Reese Holifield has died this morning. Dr. Holifield was in a hospital in Birmingham where he had just underwent bypass surgery last week when he passed away. Details are still sketchy at this point. More to come as I get it.
Condolences to the Holifield family and to the family of Dr. Judy Travis (Dr. Holifield is Dr. Travis' uncle).

Dr. Holifield had Open Heart Surgery last thursday. Late Thursday Night, they had to open him back up due to complications.
He had improved since and was actually planning to come home in the next day or so. He was eating breakfast this morning and commented about not feeling well. They say he threw a blot clot.

Demopolis and Marengo County has lost a great doctor. My condolences go out to the Holifield family......
