COTR stained by scumbags.
Six different incidents of theft and damage involving parked cars were reported on December 7th. Theft and damages totaled more than $2800. According to Police Chief Charles Avery, they have no leads, but it’s the work of one or possibly two individuals working together. No leads as of yet. Also on this night, someone managed to get a vehicle into the locked Riverside Cemetery and destroyed a number of headstones. Chief Avery cannot explain how the car got into the cemetery even though the gates were securely locked. There are no suspects in this case either, but if anyone knows who might be responsible, help put these wastes of oxygen in jail.
Fitz-Gerald wife attacks Jones.
Scott Jones has stirred up a hornets nest here in Demopolis. His letter writing campaigns to the Times and the Democrat have lead to heated responses by hospital employees and supporters. I was disturbed by a comment made by Jo Fitz-Gerald. She stated “So you don’t like Mr. Nabors, but why don’t you be honest and tell why you went on this vendetta. Ii know the reason, so does everyone else at the hospital.” Scott, I encourage you to express yourself here, where everyone can see what you have to say. Invite your enemies to talk shop in the forums. These weekly one-sided debates get us nowhere. We have an ongoing poll here that’s split evenly down the middle. I personally invite everyone to express there view on this matter.
Neighbors dispute pigs.
Talk about some bad blood. According to the Alabama Attorney General Bill Prior, the Demopolis City Council will have to decide if The Carpenters can keep their horses and pigs. Dana McCants has asked everyone in authority to force her neighbors, Mr. And Mrs. James Carpenter, to get rid of their livestock currently at their residence. At any rate, this ongoing squabble isn’t settled yet. I would love for any of these participants to express their side in the forums.
