No.. the case did not involve touching himself nor was anything like that ever suggested... If your inside connections are so good, you should have gotten the truth.
Why hide behind cover names if you believe what you are saying is true? Or do you hide behind the cover name so that so can make false accusations?
I agree with one thing you said... take the time and get to know my children before you make off the wall uneducated assumptions.
We always said that there is no need to call someone stupid. Simply give them enough time and their big mouths will prove it for you.
I can not speak to what someone else told you. I can assure you that I would be willing to discuss it in detail if you choose to learn the entire truth or at least hear both sides in full. The truth is rarely as tantllizing as gossip. My past is not a secret, although not as colorful as you claim. I do find it disturbing that you blame a small child for my mistakes.
Getting both sides of any storey is what we aim to do here at this website. I for one as an Admin of this site do not like to see a lot of gossip be passed around as truth. My thing is, If I didn't directly hear any info from someone that has a part in the act in discussion, then I don't take it to heart. We encourage anyone and everyone to post their opinions, but do not want people to post rumors as fact. Members like nursecare, as well as Third 88 are people that keep this sit going by showing their opinions, and their side of the storey. Thank you sharing, and please continue to do so!
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with corporal punishment in schools. That's why we are seeing the problems in schools we are seeing today. Spare the rod, spoil the child. People have made such a big issue out of a teacher spanking their child's **** for misbehaving. Now, hitting a child hard enough to break the coccyx is one thing, a little bruise on a tender **** is another, especially an **** that don't get spanked at home! Time to put this issue to rest. The child got his **** spanked at school and got a little bruise.......so what!
Especially in Demopolis, rumors and gossip are passed around more frequently thatn e-coli at a public pool. The problem with rumors and gossip is it's usually only partially true, and is almost always only one person's view of that truth. By discussing it in an open forum such as this, the truth has a better chance of coming out.

I know this thread has died down but since I'm new here I'm going over everything...and this one has to take the cake.
In Arkansas (Go Razorbacks!...sorry, it just slipped out) where we moved here from and where my children were educated their whole lives until moving here, I signed a slip that said no one could administer corporal punishment to my children but me. If they got into trouble at school and CP was found to be the punishment elected, the school called me and I came to the school and spanked my child in front of school officials. That was always respected and, I'm happy to say, they never had to call me to come and perform this duty.
I do agree with the old addage "spare the rod and spoil the child" and I surely got my share of "whoopin's" when I was a kid. I just don't trust a pissed off principal or teacher to supply the punishment. I informed DHS of my wishes and was told that if my daughter (14 y/o in 9th grade) did something to warrant a spanking they would take care of it and had every right to do so under Alabama law. I then told him that she has her instructions on what to do if they attempt to administer CP on her without my notification first and if they won't let her call me....and they won't like it. She has my permission to yell, run, holler rape, whatever it takes to stop the administration of CP by someone other than myself.
20 years ago I wouldn't have felt this way. But in this day and age, with anger seemingly so rampant, NO ONE will touch my child but me. End of story. If I don't defend her, who will?
Even though I believe CP is necessary in schools, my problem with the whole Curtis incident wasn't because of that. Getting mad at one particular teacher for leaving bruises is one thing. Attempting to embarass a school system snd entire community because they don't agree with you is another. Accusing the school system of racism, accusing the Superintendant of criminal acts, etc. had nothing to do with her son wiping boogers on people and getting paddled for it. (Not to mention all of what she was attempting to say was false.) This, on top of her total humuliation of her shild by going on TV and the internet showing her child's naked rear end and introducing him as the kid that "picked his nose".

I understand your point of view. I went public because it was not an isolated incident. I was not the first parent to find the bruising serious enough to take pictures and go to the school. I was the only one that the school could not intimidate into silence. It happened before and has happened since. My complaint is with Mrs Lay and her habit of leaving children bruised. Yes, I have a problem with a superintendant that lets a teacher with a history of bruising more than one child continue to have access to children. All children deserve a quality education and yes they must have discipline. But effective discipline is taught by example not by leaving bruises. Schools and parents must work together, not in opposition. I don't have all the answers. I do know that hiding one abusive teacher among the truly qualified is NOT an answer.
