Mayoral Candidate Opens Another Business

Mayoral candidate Mike Grayson just found something else to do with his free time. Mike and his wife Susan are opening a new store in Downtown Demopolis called “The Wine and Hoof”. The new businesses will feature wine and “exotic meats” such as alligator, lamb, rabbit and buffalo. They’ll also offer gift baskets, wine accessories, and salads and casseroles to go.

When Grayson announced publicly his intentions of seeking the office of Mayor in the upcoming election, there were (and still are) questions as to whether or not he could give the position the needed time and effort while running The Foscue House and running his insurance business. Grayson’s wife Susan also owns “Spec-Tacular” out on Highway 80. They will be running the new wine businesses together.

Grayson hasn’t stated any change in his plans to seek election

I personally don't see how the position of mayor,in a city like Demopolis,could be considered anything but a full-time job.I think one of the problems we've had is that we've had one too many part-time mayors with too many side projects.If elected I would quit my current job to dedicate 100% into what I feel is a full-time position.There is too much potential in Demopolis to only be given half an effort.

not so sure Mike Grayson is the man for the job. I agree that he has to much other stuff going on. But the wine and meat shop sounds like a great idea if the prices are not outrageous.
