Hey! Sorry if I didn't get back to you quickly. I just got back from Edinburg, Texas (check it on the map -- it's SOUTH), in a job interview with the University of Texas-Pan American. They said that, pending a criminal background check (I wonder which criminal they will choose) and talking with the vice president who oversees athletics, that they expect to offer me the job, probably sometime next week. It is for assistant athletics director for media relations! It is a Division I school that has 12 sports.

Tennessee left me a voice mail on Monday, saying I was an impressive candidate, but they went with someone familiar with their database system (an insider). They also said they would be glad to recommend me for positions elsewhere.

That's it from here. I'll try to keep you in the loop a little faster next time!
