So, why does Christmas dredge up so many memories? Why not Easter? or Thanksgiving?
For me, it seems that the days leading up to Christmas are just filled to brim with memories--good, bad, ugly, sad, happy, funny....... Just a steady stream of my Christmases past.
The memories of my grandparents at Christmastime are the happiest AND the saddest. Is saddest a word? If not, it should be. My grandparents are not with me anymore, but their memories are bright and...

Our new house is pretty neat. It is very cozy. As we unpack box after box after box, we never knew it was possible to accumulate as much as we have over the last 5 years. Were did it come from and where are we going to put it?
The kids are sharing a room. Well, not yet. One has commandeered the couch and one has squatter's rights to the room. That's gonna end soon, tho. We have a set of grown up bunk beds (ha) and they are gonna both have a bed in the same room. I can't WAIT...
