Yielding to Each Other
We met each other late in the Summer of 1950. I was visiting my maternal grandmother and he was visiting my first cousin. He said that he would be coming to the Alabama State Fair in Birmingham. I told him to look me up and we would go skate at the rink.
He did and we did just that! He came to our house and ate several meals with my family. We enjoyed each others’ company. He left going back to school in Auburn and said he would keep in touch.

One day in May 2009.….
We had been to church on May 3, 2009 and had come home to finish cooking our lunch. We looked forward to a pleasant afternoon doing what our family does best…just enjoying each other...maybe taking a nap….reading the Sunday news….and going back to church that night. When making a comment which is meant to compliment a person who has been in one's extended family(not blood kin) should you insult the person making the comment? I had this happen to me on Friday, April 23rd. I casually mentioned that the azaleas in her ex-stepfather's yard were so pretty this year and she went into a tirade saying that she did not like the man and the azaleas were not his! I did not answer her but I marked it up to poor taste on her part. I am probably at least 50 years older...

I will call it pilfering but by another name it is called stealing others property!
We went down to the old house today to pick up a few things we had left and take to storage other things.
