Hey! I just noticed that you're Vegan. My gf is Vegan and we have a hard time trying to eat-out locally. Are there any local restaurants that have vegan friendly french fries or other options you know of?

I get mine from amazon.com. Usually I get 2 - 16 oz containers in the whole seed variety. Actually, on the back of the container it says with a certain amount of water added to a certain amount of the salba-- you have an awesome egg substitute for recipes. Haven't tried that yet.... Better watch out if you're having a negative reaction.

Hey there... I was wondering if you've ever heard of Salba? I love it and use it all the time in smoothies and salads---really most anything I can add it too.

On an average, each American eats 150 pounds of sugar per year, about 40 teaspoons of sugar daily. Ingredients such as refined sugar and high-fructose corn syrup appear in most children’s snacks as well as most packaged goods.

Not only does this excess of sugar ruin the teeth, but is the cause of juvenile diabetes, obesity, and depletion of nutrients and energy. Although refined sugar has calories, it is an empty calorie food. It robs the body of minerals and lowers the immune...

Despite its bad reputation, cholesterol is necessary for various body functions such as hormone regulation; vitamin D; bile; sebum; and nerves. The liver is responsible for making the 1,000 milligrams of cholesterol we need daily. Because the body produces cholesterol on its own it is advised to limit daily consumption of cholesterol from food to 300 milligrams (one egg= 266 mg).

Cholesterol’s bad reputation is a result of the escalating number of individuals with atherosclerosis...
