I don't really see any problems with the game. It's for adults, so it's not really that big of a deal.

I agree that it's very similar to many people's college experiences.

We got Star Wars: Battlefront I because it's cheap and it will run on computers that aren't up to par on the new games. LPL and I play all the time. I can host a server from my house and I'll get ranger over here and we can whoop up on each other for a few hours. Sorry that was off topic but that game looks awsome; kinda like the sims. By the way, you can get the nude patch for The Sims and The Sims 2. I'm not an undergrad and I play all those games, they're great stress relievers.

I actually like to go "Wampa-ing". You know the creature that attacks Luke on Hoth? On Battlefront II for the PS2, you can actually be the Wampa and kill a Wookie with one blow. It's actually extremely cathartic, being a Wampa...not quite as cool as being an Ewok and killing a Storm Trooper with sticks and sharp rocks, but cool nonetheless.

I'm going to put as much distance between myself and your Yoda fantasy as you are putting between yourself and my joystick.

To FINALLY get on topic, I just don't have much for games like the Sims and other reality oriented games. I guess that I look at videogaming as an imaginative outlet for myself, and I like to do things in video games that I CAN'T do in real life.

In other words, I could go out and fool around with a frat boy on the Strip in REAL life, but I can't exactly command a star destroyer...
