I don't get to vote in Linden but I actually like Mrs. Friday. She was an awesome History teacher for me. Of course I love History. I heard she did a pretty good job when she was mayor. I don't know I wasn't there. I still support her.

Now that Vice has officially qualified for reelection, I'm wondering if he'll still have his little "Mayor's Corner" in the Democrat. I don't think the equal time rule applies to print press, but in this case it probably should. I don't know who Goodloe is supporting in this race, but he's been very supportive of Vice in his term. Vice would have virtually free advertising from now until the election.

With the hiring/firing duties taken away from the mayor, what exactly is that job description now in Linden? Perhaps if another Mayor is elected, the City Council would make a motion to restore that part fo the job.
