I've only been once. It was the Stardome in B'ham and we saw D.L. Hughley. He was hilarious. I loved it. Have talked about going again, but never have. I think I will look it up now and see how is coming to town.

BH beat me to it! We went to that club on one of our very first dates and had a blast. It was my first time to see a stand-up show in person. A great time!

I've been to the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA. It was 1987.....and I can't remember who I saw.....lol.....must have been the drinks (I was a bad girl back then!).

One of the comedy theaters in Atlanta is The Whole World Theater- they are an improv troup and its audience interactive--- it's a must see.
Lately many comedians are going to regular concert venues-- Demetri Martin one of the funniest comedians out there will be in Atlanta @ The Tabernacle later this month. (so jealous I dont live there anymore!)
However I do get to see Michael Ian Black ( from Ed & Stella) and Michael Showalter (from Stella) late in the month! And Carlos Mencia in November!

I went to a Comedy Club a few years ago. Although I can't remember the name. It was in Tuscaloosa. Anyway's, I had a blast. Then I've been to see James Gregory and Ron White. James is funny, but Ron was the bomb. Absolutely hilarious. Would definitely go see Ron again, if I had the chance.

I go to one of the local comedy clubs every thursday night. They play two shows and it's only $5 to get in. It's cheap fun and always a blast. The funniest stand-up I've ever seen? Mitch Fatel...omg he's hilarious. A close second would be Chinaman. He does this Arnold Schwarzeneger voice that's HILARIOUS! He did an impersonation of Ahnuld having sex with Barney. I can't get that picture out of my head to save my life. If any of you love stand-up comedy but dont get a chance to go to a comedy club, subscribe to XM radio or Sirius radio...they both have standup channels with at least two channels...one for the raunchy stuff and another for clean humor. I have XM and XM 150 is one of my 3 favorite stations. You can hear so many hilarious bits that will keep you smiling during rush hour instead of wanting to pull out a semi-automatic weapon.
