I hate to say this but I may be with Trez on this one. Probably for different reasons though. First off, I havent seen it yet. So I cant dismiss the show. The last football I played was in high school so I have a interest in the show from a football standpoint. A few weeks ago I met coach Probst at a trade show in Birmingham and I can honestly say I have never met anyone more full of themself than he was. In less than a minute he explained to me that he had a booster club that was 500 members strong and they would buy him any "toy" he wanted. I havent heard from his boosters yet about purchasing his toy. ANYWAY my 12 yr old daughter was wanting to see it so I tivoed last nights episode and I will probably watch it tonight. If its like the other shows on television like the Laguna Beach and then there was one the other night where some girl was having a birthday party and it was ultra extravagant and she was a total brat about everything and the whole concept of the party was to make all her friends jealous.
Roll your eyes or whatever at me but these kids have no concept of religion or what is really important in life. They are living by examples the parents are showing them and God has no place in their lives. They have no idea about salvation, or the fact that Jesus died a horrible death for them. These kids are lost and I don't watch these shows because it is just depressing when you think about how these beautiful and gifted kids could be examples for others who need salvation and instead they are ruled by all things material.
