Re: Two-A-Days
John Curtis is not at 1-A school. They are a 2A private school that plays in public school districts. For the last 15 years are so John Curtis has been in
4-A football. Now the Louisiana Athletic Department passed a new rule 2 years ago that will not allow any schools to move up or down in District. So last year John Curtis started playing in 2-A football again. Not really fair for the other team is it. Here is alittle info about the school.
**The Patriots have had 31 straight playoff appearances under Coach J.T.
**The Patriots have had 34 playoff appearances under Coach J.T.
**The Patriots have 27 State Championship appearances.
**The Patriots have been State Champions twenty times (20) and runners-up six (6) times.
**The Patriots have had two 3-peat state championships (1979, 80, & 81 and 1983, 84, & 85) and one 4 in a row streak (1996, 97, 98 & 99).
**J.T. is the second winningest coach in the nation**
I guess its safe to say that Hoover was out coached. I was at the game and I have to say I got to see the best 2 High School Football Teams I have ever seen play on the same field at the same time.
