The prints of the Linden Courthouse and the VFW monutment are available on a limited number basis at Angel Wing Gallery, 104 N Walnut, across from Rosenbush Furniture building downtown. I am also making black and white prints and notecards of just the monument and the entrance to the courthouse area. These should be availble sometime next week. For information on the painting or prints you can call or come by the gallery. Phone: 289-2930, if I don't answer just let it ring and it will eventually be switched over to my cell phone.
New info on the monument: By Memorial Day about 110 new engraved bricks will be added around the monument. These will replace some blank ones already in place. Also about 10 bricks with mistakes will be replaced as well as about 15 bricks that was damaged in original construction. A list of new bricks will be ready for publications next week. Any request received for a brick between May 1 and September 30 will be ready for Veterans Day. We have about 160 spaces left. We still have special requests to move bricks next to relatives to work out. These have not been forgotten.
