Dogs Given A Second Chance At Life
Hey D-Live Animal Lovers! Just wanted to let everybody know that The Humane Society of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa is helping Metro Animal Shelter with zero euthansia month for February. They have taken 5 dogs from Metro into our organization to try and find them homes. Just go to Humane Society of West Alabama.com to see these beautiful animals!
Kramer-Collie mix
Louie-Cocker Spaniel
Peanut-Rat Terrier
Prince-Siberian Husky
Randi-Rat Terrier mix
Special Treat. These two are not from Metro but wanted you all to see them.
Charlie Brown and Simba are both Chinese Crested dogs.
IMO so ugly they are cute!
We have other beatuiful animals on the web-site and some cute little puppies that are a Shepard mix.
Just go to the web site and in the right top corner it will say see the dogs or cats at HSWA, then click on the link. There is an adoption fee usually $75.00 but hey if you get the love of your life it is well worth it. We got our baby, Buddy Brindle, from HSWA and he is a doll. We couldn't have found a better friend if we had tried.
Also, we have a thrift shop in Northport that has some get items for sale and the prices are right! Nowdays, you have to save any way possible. Directions and hours of operation are also listed on the web site. Hey,
you can even donate on the web site if you are so inclined.
Thanks for reading this post and hope you will think about adopting a forever friend.
Also, don't forget our own Demopolis Animal Shelter or Clydes Pet shop here in town.

What does it mean when it has-foster me? beside their name. Some of the others didn't have that. I think I'm in love with Britain!

Ladiva, the foster-me option is for people that live in Tuscaloosa or very near there. You foster the animal in your home until such time as it is adopted. All of HSWA dogs are in foster care and some of the cats. HSWA pays for the food, vet care, etc.
I talked with Betty, (she coordinates all the care for the dogs),
yesterday and Britain had just been adopted the day before.
Sorry, I know how that love at first sight is. Betty suggested looking at Tilly as she is a Brittany Spaniel too! She also said you might be interested in taking Tilly for a trial adoption. If you are interested PM me and I will send you Betty's phone number.

I just went and looked at the dogs up for adoption and I want them all. I wanted to cry seeing all the dogs needing a home.
Some of them are precious!
I wish I could talk my parents into adopting one of the little shepard mix puppies.

I adopted my first shihtzu from the Humane Society in !989, had him for 12 years and I was" hooked" from then on. I have 9 at the present with 4 litters of puppies, along with 4 poodles.
