Money to burn?
Do I have it? I must. I pay for the premium channels on cable and never watch them. I think I watched 2 new movies this month. I watch reruns sometimes. How many times do you need to watch fight club?

I get the America's 250 package, plus locals outta Montgomery and Playin' TV, and its $70.39 a month, and I may watch 7-8 of those channels, but what can you do? They have us over a barrell, you try to get your package down and then its one channel you really miss and cant do it. It really sucks. But its worth it during football and college baseball seson, And the PPV games are like $30-35 bucks. Oh and I dont have money to burn

Fight Club is a dang good movie! Brad Pitt is a BRICK HOUSE in that movie. Ed Norton ain't so shabby. I do not have any premium channels, but with over 200 channels I am never bored (tv-wise) I am not in your area, so no idea why I'm blabbering on about my Direct TV. I called them a few months ago and told them my bill was too high and I needed to downgrade (from what? I had no premium channels) or I would have to disconnect. They took my bill down $20.00 a month and took away about 10 channels. Only thing Im missing is the Chiller Channel and the VH1 classic channel. I reckon I will survive without.
MY point: If you call and complain a bit about the price, but do it in a nice way, maybe they will rachet down your bill but not your viewing pleasure

Ive had DishNetwork 8 years, Turner Vision before that, and they call me a valued customer, but Ive haggled and haggled with them to NO avail, but hey thats one of the perks of living in the country, whats $70.00 a month, hey parrothead I forgot, I do have money to burn.... RIGHT!

i have cable- do not watch alot to tv. if i want movies, i just order them from Netflix. I spend $15/mo and get at least 2 movies a week. can get more but usually this is all we watch. there is no late fees and i can keep them as long as i want.. works for me!

Thats the thing I have them all (I did have until I started this post) starz, hbo, sho, max tmc and a bunch of other letters of the alphabet and still there is NOTHING to watch.
I have thought about the netflix thing I had it one time and they like to "hide" the newer movies. Click on new releases and you get stuff that came out on dvd 4-6 months earlier. Do they still do that?

I agree. I have DishNetwork and get every channel known to man. Have multiple HBOs, Cinemax, Movie Channel, Showtime, Starz...name it, we've got it, and there is nothing to watch. I think it's the America's 250 and we have 3 dvr's. I got a pkg because we got all the premium channels. I tried to reduce them down but then they charge you extra for other crap and go up on the fees for the dvrs. We've been considering checking with Comcast in our area and see what kind of deal we can get.
