Biden-Palin debate

.........It's my honest hope that Biden won't make any of his legendary "gaffe's" and that Sarah won't have occasion to give us that "deer in the headlights" look. Give us some substance.

After her performance on Couric, I'm not going to place much confidence in her dazzling anyone. Unfortunately, she just doesn't have the knowledge or experience that will help her in an unscripted environment such as a debate.

..........Dern, I didn't intend to make you cry. But Sarah has been holdin' back and suckerin' 'em in. Joe Biden is a really pleasant man, even though I disagree with most of his politics. Sarah and I discussed this earlier and she promised not to 'skin 'em up too bad, after all he has considerable mileage on 'em.

He definitely has more experience.

Here are the Rules - You have to take a drink every time Palin:

- references how you can see Russia from Alaska and calls it "experience"

- winks or gives a thumbs up to the audience

- says a world leader's name, two drinks if it's pronounced correctly.

- says any of these words/phrases: maverick, Alaska, Bridge to Nowhere, job creation, Washington elite/establishment, media elite, corporate greed, pitbull or lipstick

- Any time Palin answers a question, and someone at your party blurts out "WTF is she talking about?"

I think I am going to print this out, take it to the Barn tonight, turn the TV's up and have a grand old time. It will be much more fun than playing the "take a shot every time ??? goes to the bathroom" drinking game.

/To be honest we've never played that before, but there is this one guy that goes to the bathroom like every 5 minutes and we have joked about playing a drinking game around his bathroom habits

..........The back-handed suggestion that moderator, Gwen Ifill, might not be fair was silly. McCain agreed. She's a professional doing a professional job.

Palin's and McCain's energy policies are better and closer to what most Americans want.

Discussion about the Iraq war is a non-issue, Iraqiis are taking more responsibility everyday, even monetary.( It's about time ) There will be a considerable American presence in Iraq no matter who is president.

In this financial environment, promises of cutting taxes may be over-reaching quite a bit, for both candidates.

Who voted on what bill and who voted against it are ambiguous because of the add-ons or the left-offs. This current "rescue bill" is evidence of these horrible "add-ons", they cause responsible legislators to vote against the entire bill.

Each political party will no doubt claim their respective candidate won but I didn't see it, they were just two nice people debating issues on which they disagreed, and they were very pleasant about it.

P.S. kagan has a new drinking problem, he may have the "hots" for Sarah.
