Below are links to a couple of articles that have me furious. I cannot believe that the Governor of New York is letting this happen. I know that there is Freedom of Speech, but also there is an appropriate place for things. You would not put pro Nazi propaganda in a Holocaust museum for example. I lost a friend on 9/11 and this is a sensitive issue to me.

It doesn't take any nerve to do what they are doing. They're simply demonstrating their opinions. All that has to be done is for people to boycott the area, or if all else fails, just don't look at it.

it just really upsets me that we have MANY people fighting for our country (my boyfriend being one of them) and thats their way way of showing their "appreciation"?? it just really makes me MAD!!! i guess they dont realize what its like for them to go over seas for long periods of time and being away from their families and loved ones and then when they have to come back and see what these horrible people have done to the country they fight their @$$e$ off to protect and serve. you cant ignore what they did. i'm sure all they want is attention or just to simply make the news. its disrespectful!!

They are not trying to express their feelings. They are trying to "shock and awe" people. Just like vandals......It's for kicks...nothing more nothing less.

-Rolls her eyes- Well this tops it all off. I thought some people could be stupid and insensitive to peoples feelings, but geez!! It's not even right, I was living up in Baltimore at the time, and well for a week we weren't allowed to go to school. Within the school the principal was like 'Don't turn on the TV'.. okay.. why announce this? Making everyone wonder, well turns out that the Towers were hit and I felt numb. I have friends and family (visiting) that section of NY. Not fair. But seriously, who could draw things like that? Keep it to yourself people!

I don't know what can be done about this. I will try to find out if we can do anything at all. I'll let yall know if I do.
This is so sick. It is not art. And it is not right. I don't understand why they would go against those families who lost their loved ones, friends and co-workers. They are the ones that should have choosen how to best honor the ones who died.
