Venezuela and Mexico

I thought I would post what is going on between ( Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez) and Mexican President Vincente Fox.

I don't have a link but in a nutshell, they are "fighting" over Fox advocating free trade with North America (USA) and Chavez is a close ally of Cuba and is totally against it. You might say," who cares" but We import a lot of Oil from Venezuela. They have pulled their diplomats from each country and who knows where it goes form here.

You may say,"so what". but this kind of news is not reported as headline news while The Hollaway case gets hours of coverage. Where are our priorities? I don't mean to demean the Hollaway situation but I am trying to point out where the priorities are for the major news nets. (What sells.)

Re: Venezuela and Mexico

Chavez is mad because he claims the US won't honor a contract to service 16 F15 fighter jets purchased from the US, and whenever they apparently try to get another country to do the work, the US intervenes, stating "in a nutshell" that the US has to approve whomever does the work.

After reading the article from the 2nd link given, this seems to support the assertion that the US considers Venezuela a threat to the US. My question is: Does the Bush Administration consider Venezuela's attempts at getting their fighter jets repaired an attempt at having "Weapons of Mass Destruction"?
