found the site very interesting indeed. Seems like i will be voting for Kerry according to the findings of this site. I agreed with Kerry on 98% of the questions and only 45% with Mr Bush. Also Sarge you stated in an earlier post that you could not vote for Kerry due to his actions after serving in the Vietnam war, so why in the hell would you Vote for BUsh when he used his father's wealth and influence to avoid going to war to begin with. This is really cool! I matched with Kucinich first with Kerry a strong second. I'm not surprised because I do tend to have democratic leanings on the economy. However, social issues matter more to me than anything else. Although I am not opposed to civil unions for gays, I am opposed to gay marriage, and I strongly oppose abortion. These feelings will cause me to vote for Bush, even though I only had a match rate of 74% with him.

My answers were with Bush 100%. I am a Bush supporter but I just answered the questions honestly to see how it came out (and I didn't check Democrat or Republican in that question).

Now I want to revisit the whole AWOL thing that Scott brought up. I just went and read the time article that he had a link to. It does sound like that the family name was used to pull some strings. What I don't understand though is that the draft was in effect, right? If his Guard unit was called up he would have had to go, right? He draft number was called (or however they did it) and his Guard unit was not called. Was that his fault? NO! How can people say that he is a "deserter"??

I didnt say that he was a deserter. although the article did say that in the year that he spent with the Alabama Air National Guard he wa only pd for 6 days. Why is that? Was he not performing his duty. I dont have the answers i just dont think it was any different for kerry to come home and voice his displeasure for having fought in a war that many didnt believe in thatn Bush to have his father keep him form being drafted. It is my understanding that the type of unit he was in was responsible for homeland security and would not have been called to active duty
