Another Shula rumor!!
OK, I just heard a rumor from Tuscaloosa that Shula had been fired and that Nic Sabin (former LSU) had been hired. Can anyone confirm...fact or fiction?

I really thought they'd give Shula one more year. If he goes, I hope whoever replaces him is nothing like Mike Price or Dennis Francione. What I'd really like to see is a nice, dignified gentleman (which Shula is) with the ability to make Alabama football great again (which Shula does not.) Well, it will be interesting.

My sources tell me that Saban has shown interest, but was told that no job was available.

How good are my sources? Don't know...this is the first time I've used this one, but he's pretty in with the AD.

The last I heard was that Mal Moore was open to giving Shula more time but making some changes in staff. There are so many rumors flying about, who knows what's really going on?

I think this might actually be more likely. I really feel that Shula will have at least one more year to "turn the Tide."
