The 13 year old Babe Ruth All-stars are back row, left to right Chase Cameron, Logan Holley, Taylor Polk, Allen Tucker, Thomas Cramer, Matt Etheridge, Front Row: Pierre Thomas, Louis Steudeman, Jacob Dunn, Kole Thrasher, William Stewart. Not pictured is Jacob Roeman. Coaches for this years team are Reed Nixon, Seth Allgood, and Kyle Thrasher.

We advance to the State tournament which will be held in Huntsville June 18-23.

Good luck guys! I'll be right there cheering you all on! Hopefully I'll be able to find a wi-fi hotspot and keep Demopolis posted on their progress.

That sure is a Handsome group of boys. I know you have all worked very hard to be able to achieve what you have. Thanks kaye334 for getting this group of boys exposure. They sure do deserve it. There is much talent in this group of boys. They are working very hard for state!!!
I do not know how to start a new post, but the 11 year old Cal Ripken all-stars won against Alex City 4-3 in a nail biter!! They play against Coosa tonight at 6.

Don't have a connection to the net, to keep D'live update. We're in Huntsville this week for state (I had to come home tonight then head back in the AM). On Wednesday, we played a GREAT game beating Brewton 4-0. We lost to Cottage Hill today, 11-6. We had a couple of errors today that really lowered the momentum of the team, but with this loss behind them, I expect them to fully recover and be back on the top of the game tomorrow. Regardless, I'm sooooo proud of each and every one of these guys.

We play again at 2:30pm, Friday.

I graduated with Jacob Dunn's older brother Josh. I'm moving to Tuscaloosa with Matt Etheridge's older brother Blain too.

We lost to Etowah County today 1-0 in the 8th inning. Another VERY good game played. One of the Etowah's guys slammed one over the fence to get this run! We play tomorrow at 6:00pm.

Found out after I posted last night the schedule was changed and we play at 3:00 today.

The boys played their last game yesterday at 3:00 against Huntsville. We won the ballgame 17-2. They played very well together. Thank you for supporting our boys.

nope......., we were out before the last game, but the boys still played that game with lots of heart. They really showed just how they could play ball...with the 17-2 final game.

From what I was told, most of the other teams were travel teams and had been together for the whole season. Our guys did VERY well to have gone into state without playing as much as a practice game as a team!
