Dhs Varsity Basketball
Congratulations goes out to the boys varsity and girls varsity basketball teams for their wins against the Francis Marion Rams tonight. The boys varsity executed flawlessly in beating fmhs varsity by 20 points and the varsity girls executed almost identical to their male counterparts winning by 20 or more points. The junior varsity game was exciting but dhs jv team came up short. A great effort was given by all three teams and the same players we cheer for that play football...play basketball also...so come out and support them.

I really like what I saw last night with the varsity boys. They seem to be all on the same page, wanting to win. Coach Bell needs to do something with this team, he finally have something to work with. Hope he does not let this chance slip by.

Great shots! My camera was totally inadequate that night--or I haven't figured out the settings to use for action shots in that gym. I know my lens doesn't work well in there.

HS gym lights . . . I think candle light would be just as good. Those lights are terrible for a camera. I just ordered a new lens for shooting basketball. Good news is that you can get one for not much. See me next home game (Saturday the 15th, I think) and I will tell you what you can get.
