Is this the first year for the Super Six not to be at Legion Field. I thought all the finals were all on the same three-day weekend. Anyone know why? Just curious.
I think the Hoover Met is where most of the games were being played, but they weren't all the same weekend or same place. It was in one of the papers but I half read it. I think it was yesterdays Tuscaloosa paper. I'll see if I can find it.
A friend said that Thursday, 12/9 was at Legion Field and 12/10 and 12/11 was at the Hoover Met. We couldn't remember which class plays on Thursday but it was not 4A. If anyone has the yesterday's Tuscaloosa News maybe they will post it.
Looks like Demopolis will be playing on Friday, December 3rd at 7 p.m. at the Hoover Met.

the reason that only a two games will
at legion field is that the playoff were
delayed a week because of the storm
and it ran into the week that the
SWAC Championship game is played
on Saturday....the fields have to be
repainted and side markers moved out
and etc. for the Saturday game....
they wanted Hooover 6A (if the get in
playoffs and probably will) to play
at Legion Field because the Hoover Met
is there home field and they didn't want
them to have a home field advantage...
I am the one in charge of lettering the
fields and end zones and the SWAC
game is the reason for the differance
this year....the upper deck of Legion
Field is showing signs of years of use
but is not a danger hazzard as of now
it will be removed before the season
next year....
