I heard that the OC at Troy was listed to be on the short list for the job. I cant remember hs name but Mike Ratia from ABC 33/40 gave him great reviews. Mike is never wrong either.LOL

His name is Tony Franklin, he likes the spread offense, and loves to air it out. Should be OK with Kody Burns.

He also likes a running QB.
I hate to see Borges go. His offensive plan for the 2004 season was absolutely awesome. I understand that he isn't the best recruiter in the world. Not all of us are.

Doesnt take much planning with 3 top ten draft picks in the backfield.
Yes, but there were more than backs involved. There were five AWESOME offensive linemen that year as well.

Tony Franklin was OC at Kentucky and soldout everyone on the staff when UK was put on probation. I have friends in Troy that say he is not well liked by players or the community. I am an Alabama fan but I hate that AU is getting involved with this guy.
I hope Franklin does good.He has some good backs to work with. The kid from Briarwood will fit right in if they dont redshirt him. Kodie Burns will also do good with a spread offense, good runner and has a strong arm. Al Borges didnt have the KAHONEYS to use the talent he had.He was scared Cox would booboo.
