I'm going to guess Deshler is the "home team" since they've been ranked higher this year--though after the last 3 wins, Demopolis truely deserves the #1 ranking.

i think its great we've made it this far. ive heard that the other team is fav. but so was trinity and UMS. i think if we beat the # 1 team than this should be no problem. just dont get a swelled head guys and lets show them what dmop is about.

Well, Trinity was by no way a #1 team in my opinion. They simply held that ranking as a result of last year. UMS-Wright, Thomasville and Elmore Co. could've beat Trinity easily. Deshler is way better than either of the teams mentioned. Deshler and Demopolis are both dead even.
The rankings have nothing to do with who's the home team in the Super 6 games, but Deshler is going to be the home team Friday. I think the North team is home team one year and the South team is the home team the next year (someting like that) because Trinity was the home team last year. This will be the toughest team Demopolis will have faced in years.
Deshler is heavily favored because of tradition and they were there last year too. I've seen them on tape and they are just as good as Demop. If Demop can shutdown their running game, which is what they like to do, then Demop will win.
From TUSCALOOSA: Take I-20/59 to I-459 North to exit 10 (Hwy 150). Turn right and then take a right at the 3rd stoplight (Stadium Trace). Follow for about one mile and the stadium will be on your left.
For motels, anywhere in Hoover will be pretty close. If you really want to splurge, stay at the Winfrey at the Galleria (hmm...shopping...)
