Dixie Youth Softball 2008 Sign-ups

Dixie Youth Softball sign-ups begin January 25th and will run through the respective draft dates for each age group. (Drafts are in March)

Forms will be available at Omni Sports. Registration fees have not changed. They are $47 for 7-15 y/o, $42 for the second child, and $42 for T-ball.

Also, FYI there will once again be a softball clinic for girls 7-12 y/o given by the DHS Softball team. It will be held at the Sportsplex on March 8th. Sign-ups are through Dixie Youth with all proceeds going to the DHS softball team. The girls that attended last year reallly enjoyed it. Look for sign-up forms to be comin out soon at Omni Sports.

I've seen an ad that states the clinic is for ages 5-12 yr old. Do you think that was an error? My daughter is 6 and wants to go to the clinic. Also, can a six yr old "play up" or does she have to play tee ball?

I will have to check on the ages for the girls. Last year, I thought, was 7-12 because my then 5 year old wasn't old enough to participate. Now, the baseball clinic that the DHS baseball team is holding this year is 5 y/o - 12 y/o.

Sign up forms for softball continue to be available at Omni Sports. Drafts are March 10th (7-8 y/o), March 11th (9-10 y/o), and March 13th (11-12 y/o).

Also, there are forms for the softball clinic given by DHS Softball on March 8th @ the Sportsplex from 9am-12pm available at Omni.
