Should Coach Causey try and do something about officiating

Should our coach try to get the AHSAA involved in last night game, I was standing on railing and from what I saw the snapper was knocked over not hit, but not until after the ball was kicked and missed with no interference in the snap or the kick once so ever he just missed a perfectly snapped and hold ball. What do you think Demop fans what should he do CALL in or NOT?

However if decision was wrong what can they do about it?

I did not attend the ballgame so I really don't have a dog in this hunt. I do, however, understand everyone's frustration in this matter. Unfortunately bad officiating calls are a part of ALL sports. Sometimes the bad calls go in your favor and sometimes they do not. As much as the football team along with the fans would have liked a win to advance to the next level, I'm not sure appealing to the AHSAA will have any affect. JMHO

My dad used to tell me that umps and refs are right............even when they are wrong they are right...........officially. And you can fight the powers that be and even if you "win" you can sometimes still be considered the loser. I would rather see our coaches and boys take the loss and determine to go all the way next year with grace and dignity. Not much to be gained from a bitter spirit although that is a hard emotion to avoid when so much is at stake! My heart and congratulations go out to a fine coaching staff and team of very deteremined young men.

Well it would be hard for me if I had a child playing not to want to push it, but as Miscellaneous said, it probably wouldnt do any good. Im pretty sure Carver knows Demopolis got a bad call and they probably dont feel real good knowing how they won. Hopefully Demopolis gets another chance at them next year. Causey showed alot of class by not making a scene which probably made them feel bad enough. Better luck next year Tigers. Sorry for the call.

I really don't believe that Carver is broken up over how they won the game. They certainly weren't upset Friday night. They honestly believe they won the game fair and square.

Yeah but they have got to know that if that call had been made on them instead, they would believe they got screwed. I didnt say they werent happy about winning, but deep down they have got to think they probably shouldnt have.

I understand what you are saying. But on the play that the Carver quarterback crossed the line of scrimmage and threw the ball and a flag was thrown and then waived off, the second tremendously bad call for roughing the snapper would have never taken place. I was in the pressbox and could hear the reaction of the Carver coaches. It was not "wow we got lucky" it was more of "ha, in your face" type
of reactions. I think that everyone feels the way that you do, that deep down they know that they shouldn't have won, but I believe they don't care how they won just as long as they won. The officials made it too obvious that help was being given where help was needed. I also don't think Carver will be looking at the same outcome this Friday against Vigor. They will lose because what goes around comes around.

I definitely believe in bad karma, "What goes around comes around", but Carver will lose this weekend not because of anything in the past, its just a fact that CF Vigor will bury them, they have a bruising RB that will run up and down the field on Carver all night long. I think Vigor will win this one going away.

Yeah Carver coaches at the end of the game was like yeah you cant touch the center and he had seen it called a couple of times in his coaching career that's a lie. If anyone has ever seen a PAT or a field goal try to be blocked the center shoulder is always brushed no matter what it's no way around it there's no big gap between the line so, center is going to be brushed and that's exactly what happened; and he seen that they had missed and acted as though he was pushed or hit head on. What makes it worse it was a perfect snap and hold kicker just flat missed he choked. Again we still can't completely blame refs b/c we cant deny it was our Defense fault they were in field goal range they didn't contane the run or pass what really hurt was runs that covered 30 yds in a few secs.
